My name is Chad Bush. Some people call me Windpipe, or Windpipe the Clown. You can find more about that here, if you're the kind of person who finds clowns fascinating. But here and now, I'm not a clown.
I've been possessed by the itch to create things since I was a small child. It's a physical, emotional and spiritual need. I've been churning out songs, paintings, performances, stories, poems and nearly every other type of art for years, yet I've never gathered the fruits of this endless productivity until now.
Who am I? That's a hard question for me to answer, especially to a public audience like this. Just who do I think I am?
Well, I make a living as a graphic and web designer. I've employed myself at Raven's Eye Design for more than eight years.
I was born and razed in Midland, Michigan, and I earned a BA in Journalism, Spanish and fine arts from Central Michigan University in 1992.
Through the years, I've followed my intuition to several places, but I always seem to end up back in the desert. I've been in Tucson for about a decade, and I like it here.
I also have enjoyed living in Morelia, Michoacán in central Mexico, Portland, Oregon and in Phoenix, Arizona.
I haven't done much painting in the past few years since I've been so focused on music as my primary creative outlet. But I'm getting the itch to paint again soon.
